John Legend y la banda de hip-hop The Roots se han unido para grabar un disco de versiones de canciones de los años sesenta y setenta, “Wake Up!”, que Sony pondrá a la venta el 21 de septiembre, sólo en descarga. Como adelanto, el 3 de agosto se lanzará el single digital ‘Wake Up Everybody’.
‘Whole Holy’, de Marvin Gaye; ‘Little Guetto Boy’, de Donny Hathaway; ‘Hard Times’, de Baby Huey and the Babysitters; y ‘Hang in on There’, de Mike James Kirkland, son algunas de las canciones versionadas por John Legend y The Roots.
