El 7 de abril es la fecha elegida para la publicación de “No Pier Pressure”, el álbum que supone el regreso de Brian Wilson a Capitol Records. Ha sido grabado en los Ocean Way Studios de Los Ángeles, con She & Him (Zooey Deschanel y M. Ward), Nate Ruess de Fun, Kacey Musgrave, Peter Hollens, Sebu Simonian de Capital Cities, y Mark Isham como invitados, así como con los miembros de los Beach Boys Al Jardine, David Marks y el sudafricano Blondie Chaplin, que formó parte de la banda a principios de los setenta.
Don Was, Jim Keltner, Dean Parks y Kenny Aronoff integraron la bada de acompañamiento de Brian Wilson, que completaron Scott Bennett, Paul Mertens, Darian Sahanaja y Probyn Gregory.
“No Pier Pressure” estará disponible en versión estándar de 13 temas y un deluxe de 18, ambos formatos en CD y digital, y en un doble LP de 180 gramos y 16 canciones.
