Chris Isaak está de vuelta con el álbum “Beyond the Sun”, con el que homenajea al sonido creado por Sam Phillips en sus Sun Studios. Isaak versiona clásicos de Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins y Jerry Lee Lewis, junto a alguna canción propia, como ‘Live it up’, que será el primer single. La grabación ha sido realizada en los propios Sun Studios, de Memphis. Isaak ha estado secundado por una banda integrada por Rowland Salley (bajo), Kenney Dale Johnson (batería), Hershel Yatovitz (guitarra), Scott Plunkett (piano) y Rafael Padilla (percusión ), además de contar con “Cowboy” Jack Clement, como invitado. “Beyond the Sun” saldrá a al venta el 18 de octubre, en versión estándar y “deluxe”. En noviembre llegará un doble vinilo.
